Fountain Hills entered their tilt with Red Rock on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They breezed by the Red Rock Scorpions to the tune of 65-33. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Scorpions are ranked 297th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fountain Hills has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Red Rock, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Fountain Hills Falcons challenge the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fountain Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Scottsdale Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Red Rock has already played their next game (against Phoenix Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
