Baseball Recap: Dover-Sherborn Comes Up Short

Dover-Sherborn and Sandwich squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Dover-Sherborn had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-0 to the Blue Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Sunday.

Dover-Sherborn's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Sandwich, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Dover-Sherborn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sandwich, they will challenge Gloucester on Wednesday. The last three games the Fishermen have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
