Volleyball Recap: Menasha Beats St. Mary Catholic for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Menasha waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs. This was a revenge game for the Bluejays: when they faced off against the Zephyrs on Saturday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Leading Menasha to victory were Allison Guyette and Frida Ambriz Zermeno. Guyette had 13 assists and two aces, while Ambriz Zermeno had three digs and one assist. That's the most assists Guyette has posted over her last six matchups.

Menasha's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for St. Mary Catholic, they moved to 20-4 with that loss, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menasha will square off against Shawano Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary Catholic, they will take on Manitowoc Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
