Basketball Recap: Pilgrim Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pilgrim can now relate to. They took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln School Lynx. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Lynx: they've now lost four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alivia Harris, who posted seven points and eight steals. The dominant performance gave Harris a new career-high in steals. Sarah Berube was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Pilgrim's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Lincoln School, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

Pilgrim does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln School, they will challenge Prout at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season.
