Volleyball Recap: Santa Cruz Victorious

Santa Cruz posted their closest win since February 25th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Jesuit Marauders 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Santa Cruz's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Jesuit, they moved to 17-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Santa Cruz will face off against Archbishop Mitty at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jesuit, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Monterey on the 12th.
