Preview: Hooker vs. Hominy
Hominy and Hooker are battling to keep their seasons alive when they face off in a playoff match this Friday at 7:30 PM. Hominy is coming into the game hot, having won seven in a row.
Hominy kept its home record unblemished after another positive outing on its own turf. It took its game last week by a score of 36 - 22. 36 seems to be a good number for it as the team scooped up a win with the same point total the game before.
Meanwhile, Hooker earned a pretty comfortable 23 - 6 victory over Ringling last week. Hooker especially relied on junior Tanner McBee, who rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown, and junior Donavan Yarbrough, who tossed the ball for 98 yards and two TDs. This sound performance was nothing new for McBee, who has been a rock for Hooker in the past five games.
