Softball Game Preview: Reeds Spring Wolves vs. Forsyth Panthers

Reeds Spring is 0-3 against Forsyth since April of 2025 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Forsyth took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Reeds Spring, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Reeds Spring needed a bit of extra time to put away Bakersfield. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolves have posted since May 6, 2025.

Meanwhile, Forsyth didn't have quite enough to beat Strafford on Tuesday and fell 10-9.

Haiden Holle and Lauren Turner stepped up to the plate in a big way. Holle went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Turner went 3-for-4 with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Maddie Hagey was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Reeds Spring, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.
