MaxPreps Class of 2015 Boys Basketball Watch List

High school basketball's Class of 2015 has plenty to offer in the post.

Of 247Sports.com's top eight sophomore prospects, seven go 6-foot-8 or taller and six project as power forwards or centers.

Bigs like Ivan Rabb, Diamond Stone, Elijah Thomas and Daniel Giddens highlight our look at 150 of the top rising junior prospects in the country in the MaxPreps Class of 2015 Boys Basketball Watch List.

The list is a compilation of player rankings from our partners at 247Sports and standouts identified by MaxPreps' nationwide network of contributors.

The players in the paint are well-represented but Callaway (Jackson, Miss.) guard Malik Newman was named National Sophomore of the Year by MaxPreps and also tops 247's rankings.

Newman put up over 23 points per game this winter to lead Callaway to its second state title in a row.



A veteran of three high school games in the United States, Ben Simmons of Montverde Academy (Fla.) will be another name to watch. The Australian import is a skilled 6-8 wing drawing praise as a potential No. 1 prospect in the class.
