Volleyball Recap: Foothill's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Foothill lost against Johnson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Foothill Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Johnson Warriors. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Foothill had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 25-20.

Rogan Krier paced Foothill's offense, picking up 15 kills. Krier got some help from Michael Wyatt and his 19 assists. Krier was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Johnson, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Foothill has already played their next match (against Marysville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Johnson, they will challenge Fairfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Johnson is facing Fairfield at the right time seeing as Fairfield is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
