Basketball Recap: Coral Park Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

Coral Park won the last time they faced South Miami, and Elisabel Diconzo did her part to make sure it happened again. The Coral Park Rams came out on top against the South Miami Cobras by a score of 49-39 on Wednesday thanks in part to Diconzo, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Diconzo is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Sade Estrada was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. Those ten points gave her a new career-high.

Coral Park has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for South Miami, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coral Park is taking a road trip to square off against Reagan at 3:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Reagan's defense has only allowed 17.7 points per game this season, so Coral Park's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for South Miami, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coral Gables at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
