Volleyball Recap: Wesleyan's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Wesleyan had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over The Weber School Rams. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wesleyan took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10.

Wesleyan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily Miller, who had five aces and one assist. Those five aces gave Miller a new career-high.

Miller wasn't the only good servers: Wesleyan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.

Wesleyan's record is now 20-9. As for The Weber School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Wesleyan is taking a road trip to face off against Mount Pisgah Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Weber School, they will welcome Galloway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
