Grayslake Central has gone 10-0 against Wauconda recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Grayslake Central Rams will head out to face off against the Wauconda Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Wauconda will be up against a hot Grayslake Central team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. Grayslake Central claimed a resounding 56-29 victory over Grant Community. The Rams pushed the score to 50-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Wauconda entered their tilt with Round Lake on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-18 win over the Panthers. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Panthers are ranked 512th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wauconda pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Grayslake Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Grayslake Central strolled past Wauconda in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 33-17. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grayslake Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
