Volleyball Recap: Everett Alvarez Comes Up Short

Everett Alvarez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Notre Dame Spirits. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Spirits when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Everett Alvarez's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Notre Dame, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Everett Alvarez has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against North Monterey County on the 20th. As for Notre Dame, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against York on the 20th.
