Preview: Manning Monarchs vs. Loris Lions
Manning has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against The Loris Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Manning is ranked 103rd, while Loris is ranked 97th).
Last Friday, Manning suffered a tough 47-22 loss at the hands of Dillon.
Meanwhile, everything went Loris' way against Georgetown on Friday as Loris made off with a 31-7 win. The result was nothing new for Loris, who have now won three matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
Loris' victory bumped their season record to 5-2 while Manning's defeat dropped theirs to 7-1.
Everything went Manning's way against Loris when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as Manning made off with a 26-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Manning since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
