Clinton had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-54 W against the Anderson County Mavericks. This was a revenge game for the Dragons: when they faced off against the Mavericks back in January, they had to take a 71-61 loss.

Clinton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Anderson County, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 16-9.

Coming up, Clinton will square off against Powell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anderson County, they will take on Cumberland Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
