Holy Trinity has gone a perfect 4-0 against Kennedy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Crusaders at 12:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Holy Trinity had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Walther Christian Academy on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Tigers have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Kennedy was able to grind out a solid victory over Goode STEM Academy on Friday, taking the game 5-1.

Giovanni Rocha and Luke Zavala did most of the damage at the plate: Rocha went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Zavala scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Zavala a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec Mendoza, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Holy Trinity now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Kennedy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Everything went Holy Trinity's way against Kennedy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Holy Trinity made off with an 8-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
