Baseball Game Preview: Miller Rebels vs. Entrepreneur Panthers

The Miller Rebels will face off against the Entrepreneur Panthers at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Entrepreneur took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Miller, who comes in off a win.

Miller is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Indian Springs get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ilya Ridge made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Miller: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three hits, but 4-8 otherwise.

In other batting news, Angel Lopez was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Giovanni Aguilar was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Miller kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Entrepreneur was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against California Lutheran, falling 24-0.

Miller's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Entrepreneur, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
