Basketball Game Preview: Freedom Eagles vs. Unity Reed Lions

The Freedom Eagles will face off against the Unity Reed Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Freedom will be strutting in after a win while Unity Reed will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Wednesday, Freedom didn't have too much trouble with Independence as they won 62-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Unity Reed played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Colonial Forge and fell 82-51. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.

Freedom has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Unity Reed, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
