Softball Recap: Belfry Find Success

Belfry won the last time they faced Prestonsburg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pirates walked away with a 4-1 win over the Blackcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Belfry's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Prestonsburg, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-23.

Coming up, Belfry is taking a road trip to take on Perry County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Commodores have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. Prestonsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
