Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Central Takes a Loss

Lawrence Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Lawrence North Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-14.

Lawrence Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lawrence North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

After both having extra time off, Lawrence Central and Pike will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Lawrence North, they will be taking part in a tournament against New Palestine at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Dragons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
