Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lutheran suffered their biggest loss since September 25th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Bishop Seabury Academy Seahawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-8, 25-13.

Shiloh Gerard paced Lutheran's offense, picking up four kills. Gerard got some help from Kate Mahnken and her five assists. Gerard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lutheran dropped their record down to 4-12-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season.

Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Maranatha Christian Academy on the 9th. Bishop Seabury Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
