Football Game Recap: Mamou vs. Oberlin

Mamou was out to avenge their 12-28 loss to Oberlin from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Mamou found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-22 punch to the gut against Oberlin on Thursday. The state rankings had actually given Mamou a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Mamou off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Oberlin a 1-0 record.

Mamou are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Basile next week at 7:00 PM. Oberlin will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Delcambre at 7:00 PM.
