Softball Recap: Cloverdale Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cloverdale can now relate to. They came up short against the Berkeley Yellowjackets on Tuesday, falling 11-3. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this contest were averaging 3.29 runs allowed.

Camryn Donahoo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Cloverdale's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-3. As for Berkeley, they pushed their record up to 11-15 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Cloverdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berkeley, they will head out to face off against Alhambra at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
