Football Game Preview: Edgewood Crusaders vs. Stoughton Vikings

The Edgewood Crusaders will face off against the Stoughton Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Edgewood is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

If Stoughton heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Edgewood took over last week. The Crusaders enjoyed a cozy 49-32 victory over Lakeside Lutheran on Friday. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Warriors are ranked 210th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Stoughton ended up a good deal behind Portage on Friday and lost 38-22. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Stoughton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
