Football Recap: Apex Friendship Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jordan, Apex Friendship was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Apex Cougars a 17-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Patriots' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Cougars are ranked 236th).
