Stonington and Killingly are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Bears will head out to square off against the Trailblazers at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

If Stonington beats Killingly with 11 runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Bears blew past Cranston West 11-1 on Saturday. Considering the Bears have won four matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Killingly had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They never let the Bobcats get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory.

The win got Killingly back to even at 7-7. As for Stonington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Stonington came out on top in a nail-biter against Killingly in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
