Softball Recap: North Has No Trouble Against West

North came out on top against West on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run second inning. The Stars blew past the Vikings 18-8. The Stars haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Bayleigh Wood was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allison Jauregui, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .647. They are 15-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

North's record is now 17-10. As for West, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North beat the Vikings by a score of 25-5 on Thursday.
