Baseball Recap: Granite Hills Comes Up Short

If Granite Hills was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Silverado last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the Adelanto Saints on Wednesday, falling 8-2. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Saints earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Granite Hills saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vincent Jarvis, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

Granite Hills' loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Adelanto, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

While Granite Hills had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
