Basketball Recap: Hartsburg-Emden Takes a Loss

Hartsburg-Emden lost against Lutheran back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hartsburg-Emden Stags came up short against the Lutheran Crusaders, falling 76-50. The Stags just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Hartsburg-Emden lost, don't look at Cage Crumpler. Despite the final result, he posted 27 points. Those 27 points gave Crumpler a new career-high. Peyton Swinford was another key player, putting up ten points.

Hartsburg-Emden's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 8-18 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
