Baseball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the South St. Paul Packers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Packers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on April 9th.

North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Schneider, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for South St. Paul, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North is set to face off against their familiar foe Mahtomedi at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South St. Paul will challenge rival Simley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
