Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Ward Cyclones vs. Rossville Bulldogs

The Bishop Ward Cyclones are taking a road trip to take on the Rossville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Ward is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On Sunday, Bishop Ward was beaten by Tournament Opponent 76-34.

Despite the loss, Bishop Ward had strong showings from Davontae' Davis, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points, and Andrew Robinson, who posted nine points. Robinson has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 60% every time he's hit the court this season.

Meanwhile, Rossville had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 58-34 to Olpe on Tuesday.

Bishop Ward's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rossville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Bishop Ward came up short against Rossville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 77-69. Can the Cyclones avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
