Football Recap: Alcovy Tigers vs. Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs

Alcovy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They were outmatched by the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs and fell 57-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 42-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Trey Bryant threw for 69 yards on six of 21 attempts. Kendrick Henderson was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.

The team also got some help courtesy of Westley Booth, who threw for 156 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Alcovy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 59-6 loss against Jackson County on the 25th. As for Winder-Barrow, they have also already played their next matchup, a 35-21 defeat against Habersham Central on the 26th.
