Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial's last matchup with Ravenwood could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Cougars lost 10-0 to the Raptors. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Ravenwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Centennial will be playing at home against Harpeth Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Honeybears at the right time seeing as the Honeybears are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Ravenwood, they will challenge Christ Presbyterian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raptors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
