Softball Recap: Beau Chene's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After flying high against Northside Christian on Thursday, Beau Chene came back down to earth. The Gators lost 11-1 to the LaSalle Tigers on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Gators have suffered since March 17th.

Beau Chene saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jailah Rideau, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

With the loss, Beau Chene broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-6. As for LaSalle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

Beau Chene wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 win against Pitkin on the 11th. LaSalle has also already played their next contest (against Fairview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
