Soccer Game Preview: McKay vs. Centennial + How To Watch

The McKay Royal Scots will venture away from home to square off against the Centennial Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. McKay's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

McKay fell victim to Sprague and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Olympians, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Centennial, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past South Albany 4-1 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Centennial needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The win got Centennial back to even at 1-1. As for McKay, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

McKay beat Centennial by a goal when the teams last played back in August of 2021, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royal Scots since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
