Softball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Morgan extended their losing streak to seven on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-14. They lost 15-0 to the Lennard Longhorns. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Lennard, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

For Lennard's part, they got a massive performance out of Kennedy McClain, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI McClain has posted since back in March. Hannah Rooks was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Looking ahead, Morgan will challenge King at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lennard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
