Softball Recap: Sidney Takes a Loss

The matchup between Sidney and Tippecanoe on Monday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Yellowjackets lost 20-0 to the Red Devils. The Yellowjackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Sidney has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Tippecanoe, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Tippecanoe will welcome Houston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sidney will be paying especially close attention to the Red Devils' contest: after the Red Devils face off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Sidney again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
