Softball Recap: South Medford's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

If South Medford was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of West Albany last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell 5-2 to the North Medford Black Tornado on Tuesday. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

South Medford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Kaufman, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Medford fell to 5-1. As for North Medford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Medford will head out to square off against Roseburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Medford, they will venture away from home to take on Bend at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
