Baseball Recap: Covenant Day Triumphs

Covenant Day won the last time they faced Charlotte Country Day School and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions came out on top against the Buccaneers by a score of 6-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Issac Snapp looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Zeb Engstrom was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ethan Andujar, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Covenant Day's record is now 17-4. As for Charlotte Country Day School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
