If Brooks was riding high fresh off their 12-4 takedown of Loretto on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Brooks came up short against the Florence Falcons on Saturday, falling 13-7. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Gunner Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Andrew Edwards, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Florence, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

While Brooks had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
