Cheney RVT extends home winning streak to four

The Cheney RVT Beavers had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.8 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They managed a 49-45 win over Glastonbury. That's another feather in the cap for Cheney RVT, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Dam'nic Gittens, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Brookins, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Cheney RVT pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Glastonbury, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Cheney RVT won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Harvard Ellis Tech at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. Harvard Ellis Tech is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. Glastonbury won't have much time to rest: their next game is against South Windsor at 6:45 p.m. on January 16th. South Windsor has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
