Basketball Recap: Soulsville Comes Up Short

Soulsville lost against University back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Soulsville Revolution took a blow against the University Tigers, falling 58-22. The Revolution just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University to victory, but perhaps none more so than Edniya White, who went 9 of 13 on her way to 21 points and seven steals. White is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalina Lambert, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 16 points in addition to seven assists and five steals.

Soulsville now has a losing record at 3-4. As for University, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Soulsville and Kirby will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for University, they will head out to face off against City University School of Liberal Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. University is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.5 points per game this season.
