Martins Ferry extended their home winning streak to 15 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Olivia Harkness. The Purple Riders put the hurt on the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Harkness, who had 35 assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 32 times she's played.

While Martins Ferry won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-23.
