Basketball Recap: Sussex Central Takes a Loss

Sussex Central was the 51-49 winner over Lake Forest when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sussex Central Golden Knights took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Forest Spartans.

Sussex Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Lake Forest, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Sussex Central has already played their next contest, a 63-61 win against Caesar Rodney on the 18th. As for Lake Forest, they will square off against Laurel at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
