Football Game Preview: Pymatuning Valley Lakers vs. Mogadore Wildcats

The Pymatuning Valley Lakers will challenge the Mogadore Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pymatuning Valley is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Harding just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 19-14 to the Skippers. While the Lakers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Skippers 7-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mogadore). They enjoyed a cozy 34-18 victory over Cleveland Central Catholic on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mogadore's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Pymatuning Valley, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.
