Preview: Randall Raiders vs. Pampa Harvesters
The Randall Raiders will be playing at home against the Pampa Harvesters at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Randall should still be feeling good after a big win, while Pampa will be looking to get back into the win column.
Two Fridays ago, it was a tight match that could have gone either way, but Randall made off with a 14-13 win over Dumas.
The critical scores for Randall came from Tryston Sanchez and R.j. Matthews.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-13, which was the final score in Pampa's tilt against Hereford on Friday. While losing is never fun, Pampa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 732nd, while Hereford is ranked 245th).
Randall now has a winning record of 4-3. Pampa has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Randall was able to grind out a solid win over Pampa in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, winning 45-35. Does Randall have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pampa turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
