Basketball Recap: Brenham's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Brenham fought the good fight in their overtime game against Caney Creek on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 53-51. The loss put an end to the Cubs' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brenham fell to 2-1. As for Caney Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Brenham and Caney Creek will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the court. The Cubs will host the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
