Basketball Game Preview: Knoxville Panthers vs. Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays

Knoxville hasn't had much luck against Bondurant-Farrar recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Knoxville Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays at 7:30 p.m. Knoxville is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

If Knoxville beats Bondurant-Farrar with 66 points on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Knoxville enjoyed a cozy 66-48 win over Prairie City-Monroe on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Bondurant-Farrar waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 58-46.

Knoxville pushed their record up to 22-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points over those games. As for Bondurant-Farrar, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Knoxville came up short against Bondurant-Farrar in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 62-55. Can Knoxville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
