Basketball Game Preview: Emmett Huskies vs. Skyview Hawks

The Emmett Huskies will head out to face off against the Skyview Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyview took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Emmett, who comes in off a win.

Emmett will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Columbia, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Emmett blew past Columbia 50-24 on Saturday. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Natalie Goslin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 boards. She has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Taylor Sammons, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Skyview was beaten by Bishop Kelly 53-18 on Friday. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Skyview's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Emmett, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Emmett beat Skyview 28-19 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Emmett since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
