Gonzaga Prep faced Ridgeline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bullpups walked away with a 2-0 win over the Falcons. Winning may never get old, but the Bullpups sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Mara Sandberg paced Gonzaga Prep's offense, picking up 14 kills. Sandberg got some help from Noella Migliuri and her 20 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgeline lost, don't look at Sophia Campbell. Despite the final result, she had three digs and three aces. Kaylie Van Ruler also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Gonzaga Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Ridgeline, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Gonzaga Prep and Ridgeline will both be playing Lewis & Clark the next time they take the court. The Bullpups will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
